floor shift conversion

I'm looking to convert my 3 on the tree in my 55 ford customline to a floor shift can anybody help? thanks

I've seen Hurst and B&M shifters mentioned a lot on the HAMB.
Are these better than the 'ones with the button'?? I have one of 'those' and don't really like it.
I'd like to know what others think before switching.
