I see lots of really bad flooding in Austin TX on the news this evening. Wondering how our Boss is doing. Everything OK for you?
Media reports look very bad for certain areas. Lots of members in the Austin area....hope all is well. Pushing this to the top to see if anyone chimes in.
Lol ... buying in a flood plain is NOT traditional in the Texas hill country. My bet is : Ryan's beer is iced up and all is fine in his world. Rain makes the garage clink and clang.
Hmmm...no response on this since posted Saturday. Now I am beginning to become concerned. Anyone in that area care to give us an update?
Even if OK, prolly many don't have power and haven't even seen this thread, let alone able to reply. Hopefully someone there will post soon. Fingers crossed.
A lot of states have had sever flooding this past month and are experiencing it again. South Carolina has been hammered. HRP
You are absolutely correct. When I started this thread, I was thinking of Ryan, but I'm sure many others are also having challenges. I should have been thinking bigger.
This photo is from Columbia,South Carolina... And the water was shallow compared to some places toward the coast...Charleston area really got hammered as did the upstate. HRP
I delivered in the Houston area Thursday afternoon & reloaded in Dallas Friday morning for transport to SEMA, missed most of the really heavy storms, but there was lots of flooding on the access roads & plenty of wrecks along the highway!
Austin got some rain, but a couple hours south in Floresville got a tornado that tossed a trailer onto the roof of a hotel...
I got a good chuckle when a national news guy referred to the trailer on the roof as a "semi trailer".
Given that we've had two journal front page articles from Ryan this week, with no mention of problems, I guess he's OK. How about you other flood areas fellas? Anybody lose a car or shop?
