Flipper was there anything there without an LS motor? ha ha. A buddy of mine from home was there and he was noticing that the majority of the cars had the LS motors. I have some pics to post I might tag onto your thread.

Wow, just wow - and this from a guy who is pretty jaded about car shows. Outstanding work Flipper and what a start to the day - just spent an hour browsing this thread. Thanks for including some shots of orphan makes in the ocean of Fords - love the Amos Northup designed Sharknose Graham Combination Coupe and the Raymond Loewy designed 1933 Cycle Fender Hupp cabriolet. I bet this coverage will motivate more than a few to revisit the NSRA Nats (I know I will) and it is proof that whatever your tastes, if you look hard enough you'll find something to love....

I made the best of my day there, but it was probably my last one.

Here is another shot of the graham

If it does it's a shame - the thread Flipper started showing the 'other side' of the show got deleted but it probably would have convinced more than a few otherwise.

Anyhow, big thanks to Flipper for BOTH threads.

  20. Great pics Flipper...glad you stopped by the Rod Kings camp to hang out for awhile. Hope to see you at the Frog Follies!

Some cars should have rolled off the the factory assembly line right into the junkyard. I really like my 87 Silverado but i am in no hurry to go get antique tags for it just because it is turning 25 in January.

I love the more traditional stuff. Those are great!

Thanks Flip. Good eye as usual. See you in E'ville.

  29. And here I was, all pissed off 'cause I forgot my camera's memory card!

Great pics of some great cars! Thanks for taking the time to share them.

That steel '34 roadster was the nuts. He owns an equally bitchin' 29 touring with hopped up banger.

  30. Just wanted to join in on the 'thank you' chorus. What a treat. With my bad knees, I'd never have been able to see that many vehicles at the event -- but that was a superb walk through. Thanks again.
