My wife's Studebaker (58 silver hawk) transmission died. It only goes in reverse. Can anyone point me too a good transmission shop that can fix these old transmissions around Seattle?

You might also look at Kirkland Transmission near Totem Lake. They rebuilt my 3 speed with overdrive and did a good job.

You might also try Kelly Waller in Snohomish @ Kelly's Auto Repair.

  5. Clary's is a good place. I have them turn fly wheels for me and I've gotten a few parts from them. Here is there website. I live over on 92nd. I drive by there all the time. They are always working on some old car there.
