Assume you didn't like it at all, find any flexible chrome that did work?
    Thanks

OK, since only a few of youse guyz got it...I'll have to explain.
First, it it PLASTIC. Plastic chrome has NO place on a traditional car. Period!
Second. it is pretty crappy looking, and the older it gets, the worse it looks, not worth putting on a car that your really like!
Third,, maybe not so important to most, it is a cheap, easy way of doing something. On most old cars, it is worth the trouble to do things right, IMHO. Most people can easily see the difference, too. Similar to the agruements against using fake Olds valve covers, Lexan windshields, fiberglass bodies, and on and on and on....

If you've got the talent to chop a top, customize a car, or even restore an old car, you can probably come up with doing this a better way. Don't get lazy at the last minute!

Do you know for a fact that it won't last? I've seen plenty of "traditional" chrome jobs that last 2 months!
I've chopped the top 4 inches and widened the body 8 inches and "glued in" the windshield so trying to fabricate a new frame and have it chromed is both too expensive and in my opinion won't look right (I'll be the first to admit I'm not a traditionalist and don't care to be one), thus the reason for trying to find something such as the flex chrome.

You haven't, by chance, widened a 53 or 54 Chevy car have you?

No, this was bad enough- can't imagine how much fun you'll have! I do wish you the best, I'll bet it would look good.
