Did couple of searches didn't really come up with what I was looking for. I would like to see some 34s out there with or without flattened rear crossmembers I'm I'm middle of chassis build would like to see some examples of both please! I got front 40 spring for back of mine de arched and reversed eyes. But would like to see some flattened crossmembers of their out there. This is stance I'm shooting for but like different options.

Not sure if this helps...mine is a flattened 34 11924259_1108569612489869_5252751944716008641_n.jpg with stock 40 rear spring

I used a stock rear spring in a 32 Tudor (which actually has a deeper drop crossmember than a 34) and with dearching I got the rearend low enough (about 4" of travel before bottoming out). I didn't even need reversed eyes. I'm surprised that with a flattened spring and reversed eyes that you'd need a flatter crossmember. Unless you plan on some large C notches too.

Yah I don't know if I do need to flatten it really just seeing what peoples set ups are.

  5. My suggestion is to not only flatten it but add the model A center section. When I did mine I added the A cross member as I planned on a QC in the future.

My frame is a bit of a bad example, as someone Z'ed my frame before I got it. I added in the A cross member and actually ended up flattening the A cross member as the Z dropped it too mush and I needed to add height back to the car. This picture is before the cross member was flattened.

I like to think I got the stance pretty right given what I had to work with.

I didn't flatten mine either..I reversed the main leaf and de-arched the three longest springs in a press. I did it in steps so I didn't take too much out. I also added 41 shackles which dropped it another inch. 4th Annual The Race of Gentlemen (TROG) Sat Oct 10 2015 480-X3.jpg

Some great information thanks allot. Think I'm gonna leave it alone just see what my de arched and reversed springs do then go from there. Here it is half ass mocked up I think it's gonna sit about right. Bad pic I'll post some more when I get it put together!
