Flathead Value???

Whats a 51 Ford Flathead with 2000 miles since rebuild and a spun bearing worth?? It fires right up and runs but knocks. Its a stock rebuild, rebuild carb, fenton headers and electronic distributor. Thanks,Mike

I'd go a little more than that, since it's got a electronic dizzy, headers, and a (supposedly) rebuilt carb, that's easily $300 worth of (used but good) stuff, I'd say $600 sounds fair. You're getting a non-stuck flatty that needs a total rebuild, with some good pieces to go along with it. Probably has a good working starter and water pumps too, so that's a plus.
