flathead to 302 motor mounts

    i was told i can bolt some up and not cut anything. just change the oil pan and bolt on and go. where can i find them? thanks!

    ....Providing those were one of the cars you are talking about (just going by the fact that you mentioned needing to change the pan).

    Depending on where the motor ends up, you may have oil filter clearance issues. I ended up using a remote oil filter on mine. Also, check your radiator to water pump pulley and fan? clearance.

    they also have a kit where you can have the oil filter point forward. you bolt in the 90 degree adapter.

    also we used undersized pullies to get some more pwr from the motor.

    ok, so what else do i need. i'd like to buy everything so i can bolt and go. i know it won't be that easy but just have the things i need.

  12. I concur on the remote oil filter, Summit had the cheapest one. Also the drivers side exhaust manifold needs to drop out rear of the last cylinder, angles back to clear the steering box.

    I bought that kit for my 53 and they sent me the wrong shit and wouldn't fix it...fuck them......
