What the F*ck I wanna drive my truck.
After 1 year apart, I rebuilt the entire truck.
The flathead fires, ideles nice for about 2 minutes, I notice an oil leak and shut it down.
    Now no spark?
    where should i start?

check the simple stuff first. is your ignition fused? loose wire? etc.

    Systematics:
Remove wires from coil; hook alligator clip jumper from bat to coil ign switch lead, hold secondary wire close to head, attach another jumper to distrib terminal on coil and repeatedly ground and release that.
If you get a spark each time you ground and release...make that a fat, yellow, energetic spark...coils is good. If not, coil is bad.
If coil is good, replace switch lead, turn on ignition, and repeat...if no spark, wire or switch bad!
If good, reconnect all and crankit...if no spark somethiong wrong in distributor...pull that and report back here!

We were getting the red dot roadster for Paso,
the engine ran great up to the point when the guy I got the engine from came by.
Wouldn't start. For some reason the condensor burnt out 20 minutes before he showed up.
    the engine was still warm!

A friends flathead car we were putting together though...
ran great, he spent $60+ on some 12v crazy red coil.
Drove it around but then left the ignition switch on.
    Ended up burning the coil.
Replaced it with a $15 coil and its still on there.

Its something like that though, wiring, coil or condensor.

And buy it identified by original use, like 1957 Ford or whatever, with the required resistor...that way if it fails in Ratsass, Nevada, you know what to ask for.
