Can some of you Ford flathead builders tell me the differences between the 59AB and the 8BA flatheads besides the bellhousings, and which parts will interchange. Also can you put the 8BA internals in a 59AB?
a couple obvious ones, intake bolt pattern, heads water flow pattern is different, different distributor housing and style, also the water pumps are different... but, any of these "can be made" to work on either engine...
