So hello every flathead experts. My name is Spencer and I am building my first flathead. I went crazy and got my self some old edmund heads and triple carb setup stromberg 97s but I started disassembling the engine. I got the rods out and the bearing don't look like what I was expecting to be a used motor. Can anyone explain. I was expecting them to be worn. Also I would like some suggestion on internals. Not building a blower motor. It has the original ford script rods. Suggested bore size and cool tips u recommend. I would really appreciate it. Thank you. Is it a 21 stud or 24 stud motor (head bolt studs)? If 21 stud, where is the water outlet, center of head or at front?
