Flat-top 1960 Cadillac - Time to get rollin'

..wow, Canadian Pontiac!That should be rare enough, as well as simple enough to work on, What with the 59-60 mechanicals underneath. (If You can call that "simple", these days either.)

"59-60 Chevy mechanicals", meant to say. A friend in town here in Finland has one of those, a 4dr sedan. With the big, GMC -sourced 261 six like Yours. I think his is a "Strato Chief", though. Vast majority of the few Pontiacs sold in Europe in those days were of Canadian manufacture, with the 'foreign' to the US-Pontiacs Chevy track, wheelbase and mechanicals. May have had to do with the "CKD" -practice common at the time.
..Anyway, how's the Cadillac coming?

Picking up right where i left off with this project. Cleaned, and re-assembled a Rochester 4 Jet.

 

she looks almost factory correct!

Well, she’s back in the barn, and i have a little over a month to get her road-worthy to make ‘er down to Back to the Fifties. Wish me luck!

Well, made some progress, and hope we’ll meet the target date!

 

i realize now, that i forgot to mention that we made it there-and-back, and she ran like a Swiss watch! It was alot of fun!
