I believe there is a machine shop in maybe Akron, OH that sells the two, Ford, early transmission (32-48), counter shaft and reverse idler shafts with grooves for o-ring seals. Would anyone have contact information?

I believe that is Hot Ron John Kovar that was selling these. Do some research. Seems like there have been some bad deals in the past. As always, your results may vary.

I have heard that the reproduction Ford transmission shafts are not hardened to factory specs and wear rapidly. Lots of discussion on this at the Ford Barn.

  4. Bored&Stroked has a nice tech thread here and Fordbarn on shafts he machined.
