Flat head hose

    What's up with these hoses? From the flat head to the radiator?

    Keep the rubber side down and the rusty side up...

    It just seemed odd to me, I have never seen them set this way, the other side is shaped a different shape as well

    driver's side looks like it's shaped that way to clear the fuel lines

    That could be the answer..I would still like to change to uniformed on both sides

    So get your plumber to duplicate the LH for the RH.

    Well, I'd have to say he might be the guy who was asking if it was cool to use copper tubing for water lines and other lines a while back.

    I'd also say that that cobbled up mess is one hell of a good reason why you don't do it. A couple of pieces of exhaust tubing formed at the muffler shop and painted black would look so much better and not distract from an otherwise nifty engine compartment. Sometimes "It's what all the cool guys are doing" isn't sufficient reason to put something that distracts from the rest of your engine on your engine and may be a liability reliability wise.
     
  13. four 45 degree radiator hose bends and a piece of stainless tubing in between them would work and look great

    Yep..Take the ugly out of that thing. Ha. Some guys just cant plumb. :)

    Thanks guys appreciate it, was worried it was this way because of engine position or radiator.
