First time doing flares on a car. Wanted to lower the rear end and still retain my 15x10 wheels.
Pretty good job!
Looks good and tasteful.
End result looks way better than I was expecting.
Doing it in the driveway…pretty kick-ass!
Good job, lotta body lines to work around. NOW the challenge is getting the other side to match
none of that fits in the HAMB theme of traditional hotrods
Again with the comments?
Definitely, extra points for doing it in your driveway!
Thank you! It's rare that I do anything inside a garage. I did most of this cars modifications in a dirt floor barn.
Looks good to me.
Are those store bought flares? Where did you get them?
Yes bought from a vendor on Ebay. He sells all different styles . I believe they were around 70 bucks.
That's a cool little falcon
The flair looks good,, not too big, just enough...the light is always better in the driveway IMO
Thank you. Has a sbc with fenderwell headers ,58 ford 9 inch rear will 411 gears and a drilled and dropped i- beam with split bones.
...and THAT'S why its traditional build!
Cool. What did you use for the flares?
I got a set of these from ebay. Nice quality flares.
Looks good to me. HRP
Yet you have flourescent green wheels on your avitar car??? Is that traditional or is that's the pot calling the kettle black?
I'd pat the boy on his back, commend his efforts, and say ain't you a hot rodder.
Got the Mad Max mojo.
Not to be a party pooper, like somebody else..... But that looks like a cast I-beam axle from the Hoffman Group, known for very poor quality. Just a heads up, you might want to think about upgrading, when an axle fails it usually turns out very bad.
Thanks for the heads up.
I did mine using junkyard fender lips I cut off the front fenders of a old Mercedes sedan. $10 for the pair since the car was nosed, and fenders weren't good. I kept trimming them until they fit my '63 Falcon, and fit the radius I'd cut for my pie crust slicks.
