I finally got everything put togeather enough to wheel my 31 out if the garage and take a step back. Really get a good look and man I'm excited now. All the hard work to now is actually working. This is my first time building a car and it's been tons of fun but there is def a learning curve. Hoping this winter to get the frame finished up, finish the chop and the sub floor and then start tackling the nailhead I'm planning to put in it first part of next year. As winter starts to show up here in Michigan today provided me a nice photo album to tide me over till next time I can wheel it out.

Looking good, nice Slant Wondow! Did you change the angle of the windshield to compensate for the chop of the front door? More chop photos would be nice to see along with details, how much etc., got on my self that I plan to cut. Bob

Thanks. I chopped it 3 inches and moved the header forward to compensate. Then adjusted the outer post sheet metal to tie it all back together. The top of the front door I'm going to have to extend slightly at the front edge. Got the initial how to from scootermcrad's modified Murray project. I'll try to get some pics next time I'm out in the garage

That looks great! I too am interested to hear more on the chop, especially the leaning of the front posts.

Profile-stance will get even better when the Nailhead drops front down. Great way to save a Mordor. What Nailhead is going to fill that opening up front?

Looks good man! As my wife keeps saying to me “enjoy the journey” of the build when I have been saying I wish it was done on my build. The nailhead is gonna look sweet in there. What’s the plan for it?

Right now I have a 401 out of a '62 LeSabre. Gonna keep it mild. Cam and the 4x2 from Centerville auto. I know it's not traditional but I had a t56 fall in my lap and I like the idea of some good highway gears. Top it off with a quickchange and I'll have her on the road.

When the drivetrain goes in, give us some good details on mating the T56-Nailhead combo.
