    Front wheel drive. Guess we were destined to have it as our daily driver. Machinery of the past is remarkable when you take into account the manufacturing process.

    I love it !!!! only thing is ,it would be hard to chop an channel.And finding wheels would truly suck.But love the pipe out back....................YG

  8. I remember reading about this vehicle as a kid and think the original exploded killing the driver and some bystanders. I could be wrong.
    Also the Marquis de Dion is arguably the builder of the first "reliable" internal combustion engine and trembler coil ignition. Most early Automobile builders used or copied his single cylinder design. Oh ya he was French.

    Don't they teach anything in school anymore?? I read about that car 40 years ago when I was 8 years old. Nothing new to me.
