I haven't posted in three years, why..... don't really know. Some might even remember me as Big D. I run a yellow 1959 slingshot (Strange Brew) that used to be powered by a Weber carbed Chevy II. It now has a 283 Chevy. What prompted me to post? I was looking at the new issue of Nitro Madness saw two 50's style flat head diggers at Cordova. They had H.A.M.B lettered on the sides pretty cool guys!

Hurt it on it's last pass. Got the stroked crank fixed and have been giving some thought to building a roadster for the street with the banger for power. 12 to 1's, roller cam, Ansen alum. head, dual weber 45's. All that would be cool in a 27 turtle deck eh? Got to sell my 37 Plymouth street rod first.

Like this? 153 at the moment,screwing together a 181 for it as we speak. T-50 5 speed 4.11 Banjo. Not a lot of bottom end grunt ,cam starts working @ 3000 or so. Figure the 181 should help the lower end with a 20% displacement increase.

I tried that with my No. 5 underwood and the damn LAN cable keeps popping out when I hit the "enter" key.
