Well these are WAY OFF TOPIC. but I went home for Christmas. And here are some pics I took on Alvera St. Funny about not living in California anymore. I saw so many people bundled up lke it was cold!!!! Panzies! It was beautiful down there, Except christmas day. It rained pretty good. Any way here are the pics from last weekend. Mike Oh yeah here's one more to keep it on topic. So nobody will cry about it not being car related.
MAN!I can't believe the stuff that's being posted! The bevels and interweaving on lucky7's tanks;the door that lostparts did for the little missus is fantastic!;buick59 photos.MAN! This is great! I have a couple more and then I'm gonna sit back and enjoy the show: The hockey helmet was quickie that was a horror show with all the surfaces.I had considered not posting it because I wasn't happy with the finished product but you gotta take the good with the bad so:
Some sunglasses I did up awhile ago.Tried to work it so they still functioned.A pair for me and my wife
Yes safari there is some incredible stuff being posted. I only stripe, can't do all the other stuff so many of you do. Yes I like the assymetrical stuff safari, the really neat stuff is that when you turn some of it around it is quite symmetrical, but it isn't obvious. A lot of my stuff can be real abstract and not what I call my real '50's hot rod style. But I do believe it is important to evolve one's work and explore the boundaries. That is why it is so exciting finding the H.A.M.B and the Friday art stuff which is a great forum for us all to display our work's Everyone's work is so inspirational. Whoops starting to get a bit carried away here with words. I can get a bit passionate about my striping at times. Will post more stuff next week.
Great stuff everyone. Ray Post More! Your stuff is amazin! I need more practice, here's a hubcap I did yesterday, VERY hard to stripe on a curved Mirrored surface. Lots of reflections to fool the eye..
The first new shift knob of the new year. Just finished it up last night. I'll be postin this for a HAMB auction later today so keep an eyeball out for it!
