hey guys, just went for the first drive in my buddys chriss hot rod today (cm30) here on the hamb. it was an old local hot rod built in the late 50s/early 60s. it was a mess and a butcher job to say the least. he has completely redone the entire car and took it for the first spin today. here are the links, im still too dumb to post the actual videos haha leaving the driveway http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLwrz7kKDJA coming home http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdAZy9aa5lE we are trying to find the video of when he had it dropped off at home when he bought it, in the cars original state. stay tuned for that enjoy
Nothing can duplicate that first drive. Looks like a well built hot rod. Hope the miles just keep on accumulating. Frank
Thanks for the kind words guys.Just have some odds and ends to finish up and hopefully get it out on the open road and really scare my self!
very nice roadster....cant wait for my first run in mine. funny watching first time runs and seeing the builder/owner smile from ear to ear but with nervous eyes...nothing like it.
The birds chirping in the back ground is a nice touch. A lot of work, twittering in a hot rod what next. lol Nice ride.
Congrats, Chris. That big Nailhead seems like it wants to pull that little roadster along like a Great Dane pulls a little kid! Cool channeled roadster, guys. Good luck with it. The "little one" sounds concerned...I heard a young voice at the end of the second video. I think I heard, "Almost hit..." LOL.
Good for you, Chris! The ride looks great! These First Start & First Drive videos are the cat's meow. Not only are they a trip down memory lane but they inspire me to find a little more wrench-time so that I can get to that point of bliss.
