The Blue Sky later became one of Harry Mohney's many porno drive-ins, no more kids in pj's. :D:eek:

  9. Any one remember ''not my daughter'' about a girl that runs away and gets involved in porn. Her dad tries to find her but somehow dies and the last sceen the girl leaves a teddy bear on his grave. Can't find a listing for it anywhere buts it's the first one I saw at a drivein in Ok. in the 70's.

Can't remember the first movie I saw at the drive in but I remember:

Ghost of Dragstrip Hollow, The Blob, Thunder Road. Yep, I remember "It came from Outer Space" and "The First Man into Space". We saw every new Elvis movie that came out.

I remember more of the movies that I "DIDN'T SEE" at the drive in during my teenage years.

The first drive inn movie i ever saw was Cujo.

  17. Delicate Delinquent playing at the Eastham Mass. drive in starring Jerry Lewis.
My parent hauled all of us kids there in the back the back of their Rambler Cross Country station wagon in the 50's
Lots of fun in those days......innocent times.
In the 60's my dad used to laugh his ass off at the Road Runner & Coyote cartoons they'd play at the beginning.

The first drive-in movie I ever saw was Inglorious Basterds last year, when i was 27 years old.......sounds lame right, keep reading. It was the last show from the last drive-in left in Tucson, possibly all of AZ (not sure if the one in phoenix is still in operation) . Not only that, i was able to share the expirience with my infant son Felix (he was 4 months old at the time) .
It was a bitter-sweet moment becasue he will grow up in a world where less cool stuff is left every day. Im glad we shared the expirience:D

If you still have a drive-in left in your town SUPPORT IT! Or recieve annother strip mall!!

Mine was Herby the Love Bug at the Y&W on Broadway in Merrillville Indiana. 1973/1974. Dad's 66 Elcamino, the console was removed and my younger sister sat on a pillow in the middle, my brother in my moms arms, My spot was on the hump behind my sister with my feet towards the spare......Crazy....Id be under the jail If I took my kids around like that.

Like many others, we went to lots of drive in movies when I was little. First in Dad's 57 Ford Custom 300, later in a '63 Ford Station Wagon. My brother and I in PJs, with a cooler of KoolAid on the floor, and a bag of homemade snacks. I didn't make it much past the cartoons.

First one I actually remember is Grand Prix at one of the drive ins in Albuquerque when I was 7. The plot was beyond me, but I loved the cars and the racing.

Terminator 2 at the Route 66 drive in on Watson Rd. in St. Louis. On the 66' tall big screen. My friends parents snuck us in under a blanket in the back of their Crown Vic wagon along with a case of beer. That drive in is a Best Buy and a grocery store now. Everyone make sure you support your local drive in. Pretty soon there won't be any left.

King Solomon's Mines, the 1950 version with Stewart Granger and Deborah Kerr.
We saw it several years later, probably around 1958 or '59, at the Fishkill Drive-In, Fishkill, NY.

I was 4 or 5, sitting in the back seat of our 1950 Mercury. The skeletons in the cave scene spooked me out!
