Technical First attempt at filling the roof on my 35 5W. Advice needed.

    EMS do a nice pailpan piece. As well as being a good fit it it's kinda large so replaces a lot more then the bottom area. The plus with this is that the areas to be welded that are visible are minimised and, more importantly, are higher up the body and more easily accessible, making an awkward and difficult job rather easier. But if Mom has long, slender arms and small hands she might be able to work in that area without to much trouble using homemade patches? ;)

    I'm with Happydaze. EMS panel is worth every penny. Made a tough job easy.

    I have the EMS panel and it is a good start but its still several inches lower than I'd like. My goal is to remove the panel above the spare tire mount and run it through the English wheel to smooth out the lumps and bumps then patch up the bottom with the EMS panel.
