Very nice, that's going to rip when you turn it loose. Did you share the engine buildup on here? If not how about a rundown of what's inside. Frank

Hot damn that's a sweet sounding BIG SBC!!!! My fav part tho is Emma in the background with the earplugs. Makes me look forward to the day I get my fleetline build finished. Might need to go with a little bit of a meaner motor than the 327 I'm planning tho to compete with your beast
Yeh i thought that was pretty funny my daughter with her head phones she wheres them when shes in the garage and the compressor comes on aswell, lol Thought might be a good dad move to fork them over for this Chaos!
I was reading through your build thread and didn't notice anything on when you welded up the rear fenders, I'm planning to do the same on mine and I love how you did them. Got any pics and/or advice before I dive into mine. I'm thinking of filling the valley with a little bit of rod to minimize the bondo but want to see how others have done it as well.
Thats about the only thing else done when i bought the car but id say welding in some round bar would be the ticket, But i made a ton of subtle other changes througout the car flipped the bumpers moved them closer to the body side tilt and front flip hood etc. no locks left the handles just cleaned up the ugly! Thanks. By profleetline at 2011-02-08
Thanks guys i really wanted a classey color and i love green but this color really just feels antique unlike a red or an orange that is a lil too muscle car for this ole heap! Real happy with engine have plenty of ASSS to it wow going to be a blast, alot of torque. Heres a quick walk around. http://s229.photobucket.com/albums/ee87/Fleetline48/?action=view¤t=026-2.mp4
No i purchased them like to have a pair of stepped headers built eventually but these will do the trick for now.
Car looks and sounds great......................but for all of you guys, we should never start our cars without someone setting in the car .............over the years have seen many new builds "drop into gear" when rapping on the gas...............so for everyones sake either have someone in the car or put it up on jack stands.........(notice the car setting right in front of the hot rod and the small child playing in the background) just be safe..................and again nicee ride
Appreciate the concern but the car has none of the running gear hooked up. trannys connect but there no converter in it or drive shaft. No ones safer this chap was taught that at a early age to be safe around cars and ecs even hauling things strapping them down well grand pap was awise man! Perfect example heres the stands i built the car on i dont trust jack stands seen many fall off then aswell plus i can see and build the car at ride height and the suspensions not hanging down. Great point though thanks ! By profleetline at 2011-02-08
