Hey Chris- Mar-K sells a bed roll light. I don't know how much they are or how good, but I know they have them.
eric they have them all right ,im not sure if they have them to suit the 38 bed roll size.i have purchased these.they will need to be sleeved to suit the bedroll.the lens is approx. the correct overall diameter.if its not bright enough I will have to put a 21 w led bulb behind the lens.
back working on the truck today.ciarain called to help.first job was to remove the green stripe hose to investigate the leak.problem was the reinforcing wire was sticking out through the hose..luckily I had a new one ,boiled it up and replaced it.need to get some more anti freeze tomorrow and top it up.next started on the fender welts.loosly bolted up the rear driver side fender.half way through it pissed dowm cold rain, some things never change.no pictures today we were rained off .it was great to see a fender on..till the next day.
4 fenders bolted on and the running boards as well.things are looking well good.this is the first time it has looked a little finished since I got it.running out of nuts and boltsfast. feast or famine as usual.hope to get to the hood today then maybe a little spin.and bolt on the rear lights, cant wait
bolted on the hood hinge rad closer panel and new hood hinge and tweeked a few things here and there.cant upload photos at the moment.worked til it got dark.ill get to drive tomorrow ,no lights yet but ill have to put some fuel in tomorrow ill do a few miles then
only pic I can download so far.theres a strong possibility of a major clean up soon
Looking good Chris!
Great looking truck! It's come a long way!

Woohoo , bust out the champagne!
I think a J.J. Correy Gael would be a better choice.
looks good Chris!
todays paddys day,ill be wetting the shamrock with a few guinness
Christen the truck with the champagne, drink the beer and whiskey. Happy St. Patrick’s day!
no beer yet too busy driving, going for a quart soon .did ye get a batch of green beer over your direction
No green beer, sorry but that’s just wrong. Maybe a red ale though.
if we got green beer here we d have to hand it back not traditional, hamb friendly
mission accomplished shamrock wetted with a couple of grand pints a beamish (black),gorgous
Looks great with the fenders on. Nice job!
Looks good Chris!
thanks im happy with how it turned out.its great to see smiling faces leaving you out at junctions it been a while since that has been happening.compliments are coming from all directions.its a very unusual vehicle over here.thanks to everyone who helped both on the hamb and here at home
headlights working, fitted the 38 truck repro taillights, homemade minimal st brackets fitted led bulbs nice bright lights all round turn signals are next.back in 38 it doesn't seem there was a requirement for stop lights or turn signals.this truck is getting both.plus hazards and fenders with some marker lights near the front corners. at the front.the headlight are too far from the edges. for safety on narrow roads in the dark.be safe be seen.
ive been doing some shakedown runs, building up the miles venturing farther from home on each trip.concluded I need dynamat or similar soon
Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
