So...I really haven't put a crazy amount of time into this project. School and work keep me plenty busy.
I've had this car for about 13 months now. If you broke actual work time down between me and my buddy into solid 8 hour days, it realistically took us about a month.

Finally got to drive it the other day. After rebuilding some small things, changing fluids, and rebuilding some old parts, she rolled out of the garage under her own power.
It was a short lived trip, but rewarding. Still need to figure out why there's no brake lights, adjust the carb, and a few other things.

    Runs and drives though.
    I'm pretty happy about it.

    Thanks guys!
Honestly, it was a pretty easy project from the start. The car only has about 62,000 on it, and had sat in storage since '68. So everything was there....just needed a little attention.

New wheels or some caps are definitely on the short list!!! Just that one wheel is the oddball. I can't stand it!

I'll post up a few more pics this afternoon.

When one is on a budget,,One does with what he has,, keep on going at your pace and it will be finished on your schedule. I like how you are dedicated to the task at hand.

Here's a few more pics. This weekend I'm gonna do some more tweaking, and possibly detail it. Time to get 40 years of barn crud out/off of it!! 20130331_131023.jpg 20130403_184226.jpg 20130403_192450.jpg 20130627_125808.jpg 20130904_204207.jpg 20130916_154813.jpg 20131220_091659.jpg 20131220_091707.jpg 20131220_091719.jpg 20131220_091727.jpg

  10. Those old Dodges were great cars...I had a 53 that I drove the wheels off of until the salt on the New England roads got the better of the frame. I took the old 241 Red Ram out and put it into my 39 Chevy five window coupe and had a ball with it..... Enjoy

  11. Ahhh, another old Mopar back on the streets!!
