Got my 55 drivable for the Syracuse Nats last week, its great to be able to move it without pushing....not done but driveable
Looks great, love the grill. Never been a fan of the 55 grill but I like this better. I wonder how beaten down you will get by every 'know it all' telling you its upside down. Front bumperettes are real cool.
Looks great.I know it is a great feeling taking that first drive. Now it will keep you a little more motivated knowing you can drive it,while finishing.Good luck and have fun. Stony
Looks great. I saw it at Syracuse, I remember the tail lights. Did you have the hood on then? I don't remember it open, but there were lots of cars there.
No hood yet, its still in the back of the garage about a dozen people at the nationals told me that the grille was upside down
I think its call "RELIEF" You do all this stuff to make sure you have done everything right and once it really goes around the block, with no leaks or oh craps, you feel like you got this thing figured out! Nice truck!
Nice job uc4me, as long as it's drivable it's enjoyable! I really like the treatment done on the doors, what are the door buttons off of? Thanks! Tom - Glass_Packs
I dig that split front bumper man! Hey did you know you put your grill in upside dowww.....ah never mind! haha! Stay cool.Ken
I bought them from someone here on the HAMB...can't remember who right now...but they are a reproduction of a 48 Lincoln door button
nice....looks a bit like mine....mine is just running and unfinished too....been like that for some six years.
Very nice. I like the ride height. I have a 56 and am trying to decide how low to go. How many inches to the underside of the running board? What size are the tires? Looks good buddy. Peter
4 inch drop in the front with 7.10 15 tires 5-6 inch drop out back, replaced original Dana 44 with a 9 inch and mounted it on top of the springs (removed the helper leave setup) with L78-15 tires I have about 6.5 inches at the bottom front of running board
