This car has never left the county that I live in since it was new. Its super solid with only one little rust spot and a few dents here and there. I can't believe how solid it is. The car came to me with out engine and trans, but I have those sitting in the garage ready to go in. I'm hoping to get it together enough to drive it to the flathead run this September! but we will see!!!???? Here are some pics just after I backed up to the garage.

"Amazingly solid" was my first thought while looking through your pics. Congrats on a great buy. If mine had been anywhere as nice, I might even have had it done by now !

The body is in great original shape and not missing very much... The dash looks good. Nice find.

    Thanks guys!
The plan for now is to get it cleaned up and a motor and trans dropped in. It has brand new mechanical breaks on it that work, so that hopefully will save me some time on getting on the road. I have a new windshield, but I need to get side glass cut. I also have a whole interior taken out of another project. Now the big deal is getting the time to do it!!!! I'm hoping I can pull it off for the 5th annual flathead run this September. I will be posting pics as I go!

new coupe 001.JPG here is the extent of the rust! just a little on the lower edge behind the drivers door and just one corner of the deck lid. The cool thing is this car has never been repainted, so no bad body work hidden by paint, what you see is what you get!

A very nice find indeed. The sheet metal looks way above average and as you know the value in any car is a good, solid body. Hydraulic brakes and an axle maybe this winter?

    Look forward to your progress!

Congrats! Really like it as is. So cool that it is a local car that stayed local.
