I know! It's like the whole cobbler's children have no shoes thing! I did coerce him into making a couple straps to keep the doors from wacking the zoomies. I think it's getting a new seat built, so I'm down and back, and then an old wool blanket thrown over top for the next year or so.

The gas tank is a spun aluminum one, 10 gallon, that I'm going to get rid of. And replace it with a bit bigger tank behind the seat. I'm going back and forth on a flip top style filler in the panel above the rumble...? Or something flush...? Can't quite decide what I want to do. Any pics/insight, guys?

That is a cool car. I will be in your area in July and I expect to see you out driving the wheels off of it!

Ya know, I love my '50 Coronet and cars of that similar body style, but the more I hang out on the HAMB, the more I'm liking these styles of cars.

I see possibly two cars in my future someday....

Nice score btw, good lookin ride.

Doh!! ...I just ran across this. Trust me, after the Roundup trip, I want to get the Roadster together really bad! You and Megan certainly took the easier route and bought running, or nearly running cars. :) Maybe it was the smarter route, too!

Been having fun driving the new Roadster, Brandi? Any updates?

I have been having a blast driving it. This weekend will mark the first highway mileage.

No real updates. Just been tinkering with little stuff that I didn't really like. Got all the parts in for the rumble. It's originally a rumble car, but they had it set up for a trunk. I think we'll tackle that this weekend. Also, snagged a '38 Chev pickup gas tank that's going to work well behind the seat, but give me room to cram bags when I head for out of state events. Found a gas cap on the 'bay, should be here anytime.

Then, I've got carpet and seat foam ordered. Should be done for the summer once that's all here.
