Projects Finally I get my Flathead powered T Roadster

I like your striping! I plan to have a rather extensive job done to this car. Not the simple, subtle style I have had done in the past on my other cars.

 

So all the parts have been getting done, paint, powder coating, polishing, ect ect. Now it's time to start final assembly!
Got a bit done yesterday, would have like to have gotten more done but all the powder coated and some of the painted bits needed threads cleaned and holes reamed. No worries, it's been a long road to this point so a couple more weeks wont be bad. To hot to drive an open car now anyway.

 

Keep after it Tim - should be a really fun ride!

looks like a roller now. surprising how much time it takes to do simple assembly. Especially when you want everything set up right. Backlash is correct.

Looking great, but I'm curious, even for tyre kicking sake, will the black wires and blackwalls make a re-appearance? Cool either way, but would be interested to see the difference the make with the body tone.

They may someday. I still have them but I am using them on my coupe. Just thought the solid '40s with WW would look good on this one.
When this car is done and I am back from Bonneville I plan to tear into the coupe. New wood in the new body and I will have Derrek Boling make me a new frame. Although I will use the stock suspension, rear end and front wishbone with a 2.5" dropped axle that Andy Kohler did for me all this done up with Full fenders and running boards I have stashed away in the shop.

 

Body went down on the chassis yesterday. Lots of little details still to go.

 

Nice spiffy new red paint.

Still have a lot to do till it's able to motivate down the road on it's own but she's looking more and more like a real "Hot Rod" every day. I'm pretty jazzed.

Great? Yes! The Blue car is a Triumph Herald, 4 cyl Vitesse.

 

Thats a Bitchin' little Roadster, Sir.....

 

Had a 63 6cyl. Vitesse convert . Love it but couldn't keep universal joints in rear axel . Great little cars .
