I got this car about 3 months ago finnally got pics,,It's a 50,,I drive a home delivery truck and been watching it for 3 or more years waitin for the day for it to come up for sale..and that time finally come...much to my suprise,,it was an old hot rod,,not just a stock old p.o.s.It's got {or had}a 58 283 with a 68 corvette carb intake heads,,huge cam,,and muncie 4 speed and 57 chevy rearend,,pulled motor and it was trashed,,to many years outside with no air cleaner and leaking water down carb, destroyed it,,interior is perfect..nothin like silver naugahyde,,,,my plans are to put mild smallblock in it,,,drive the shit out of it this year (hopefully) and then make a mild custom...let me know what you guys think,,any good ideas,,would help....

halfcocked, ya might try going to PHOTOBUCKET, set up account, download pics from your puter to the site, then you can post different sizes on here. way easy once ya have done it a few times. oh ya if ya click on the enter buttion after each post you will stack them enstead of being beside each outher, lots easer to view that way, hope this helps, later little d

Yeah, it worked...looks good for a 4-door. What are your plans for a "mild customization"?

in the way of custom,,I was thinking 50 pontiac or 58 chev taillights,,,plymouth bumpers(if I can find some)and do something with the grill,,,maybe vette,,,thought for the paint blitz black lower with crazy bass boat metalflaked silver roof..thats what i got so far,,,looks good in my head

Is the trans and rear end still good? From the looks of that front seat, the black and silver would make a good combo. With a new engine up date, it'll make a hell of a sleeper. Good score...

that interior is extra cool. I like whitewalls and hubcaps... like a 58 vette hubcap would be cool. so you got whitewalls that say custom and vette caps that say HOT ROD

Nice looking "sleeper". Proof that people rodded 4 doors before the 2 doors became scarce. Cool find.

  25. A good side or 3/4 shot without anything or anyone in the way would help.
Nice find though, and it's always nice to be able to get your money back in parts!

All that and 4 doors too!
A sleeper with plain steel wheels and dogdish hubcaps.
    A yes-it-is-a-hot-rod with five-spokes.

    Great find, enjoy it forever.
