It's been many years coming..finally found "THE" car! It originally was a CA car that was brought up to the dry part of the PNW. I snagged it last night, and to say the least I am super pumped. I'll add photos as I do things..

    Sorry for the iphone photos..

Give it a little lower stance..work out the bugs with the rear windows. It needs a paint job, but that will wait till winter. Really it just needs some cleaning inside and out, and it'll be ready to roll!

Nice looking Riv. It looks like it shouldn't take much to make it a real head-turner.

There's a dry spot up there?:D Nice find. That'll make a sweet mild custom.

That is great! I looked at one of these over in PA years ago with a factory 2X4 intake. That B&W shot on trailer even looks good. Congrats.!

Cool, I've been following on Instagram.

These are definitely one of my favorite 60s cars.

  12. Good on ya! Look up the ROA (Riviera Owners Assn) lots of good advice / some mild customs. Get a chassis service manual and a body service manual because there are some Riviera specific/year specific things that show up.

Is all the paint left? Looks like it will shine up. The rest is very well preserved. Drop it and cruise. Nice purchase.

I just detailed a friends, unfortunately it was an '80 front wheel drive. It had an 8 track with factory CB that was cool!

Looks sweet. Wish I had one. As nice as the body is on those, the interiors are at least as nice. Love the dashes on those. Personally I'm not so big on the ones with wood myself, but I just don't like wood trim in cars in general. But, I'd live with in a car like that considering how killer they are otherwise. I like those stock caps too.

Congrats on your new baby. The interior looks really good for it's age. I just (finally) got myself a '65 that's all original also and the interior is a bit worse for wear. But I've always loved the first gen. Riv's.
I see you're a photographer also; really appreciate your fine shots.

OK Neatname: Looks like a car you can drive and enjoy while you fix it up. The HAMBers are gonna hate me for this but I would leave it stock....maybe a set of factory wire caps, that's it. They are fabulous the way they are and need no tweakin' except to get them in great shape. Nice deal, Mitch.
