Okay, I have been wanting a 32 forever and since I cant afford the real thing, I did some trading and got one. Even as a glass car I had to get one that needed a bunch of stuff done to it before I could be seen in it:eek:
The radials in the first pic were gone 15 minutes after I got it and went back to the guy I traded with.
The shit on the doors goes before I drive it as well. Sometimes I just don't know what goes on in peoples heads:rolleyes:
Several other things will need quick removal, like the carb stacks!
Oh and the RIGHT HAND DRIVE when I figure the way to go1:eek:
There is a few other things I dont like but the car is 800 miles fresh.

The black wire wheels and black walls are off my 36 project and are coming off as soon as I get some new ones.

Hey, at least you now own a '32.
Yeah, there are a few things that don't sync up in style.
    Enjoy it.

My question is, what were they thinking building a right hand drive car here in the states?

I just have to change a few of the things and I should have most done by the time I get the new tires and wheels. I may live with the RH Drive for a while but the door crap has to go!

That'll clean up real nice. I'd leave it rhd, that's a lot of work to switch. Why not confuse people. What the hell is that hood ornament? Looks like an armadillo! Congrats!

Nice looking car, I don't care if it is fiberglass. Me like! The possum on the half shell is funny.

nice car hopefully you can get the stuff off the doors without having to repaint it. maybe he was building it to send overseas? i think there stricter there which might explain the turn signals in the back being amber instead of just using the one red taillights as turns too. looks like its gona be a fun car

I don't understand the "don't laugh" part? Why would anyone laugh?

That's a nice ride anyway you slice it. Sure it has a coulpe of things that could be removed... but I'd drive that thing all day long (even with the armadillo) over some hacked up Frankenstein-rod looking thing.

    Good score!

Again, I love the car and see the end product. The "don't laugh" was my attempt at humor:p

bwahahahahaha...ok. there. someone laughed cuz you bought a 'glas car. ;)

it does have lots of potential. i think it'll be neat when you get a few things sorted.

is that business on the door real? i wonder if the right hand drive thing was just another way to get attention so people noticed the restaurant?

I'd lose the door lettering and the stacks and drive the hell out of it. I like it. No reason to laugh at all.

The way I see it: A glass '32 is better than no '32. I like it.Enjoy!

  21. The Pub Hub in Katy Texas - was it the owners business? if so then it makes sense as a way to advertise .....

The Armadillo and electric fan are more offensive to me then some of the other shit. And Colorado plates??????

The business is real in Texas somewhere, it was built in 2011 and only driven 800 miles.

Yes and it came from florida:confused: I did not get it from the resturant owner. And those are also on the removal list, just got to take it in steps.

  25. I like it,,don't have a problem with glass cars.

As I use to say about my glass '32 roadster,,it may not be real but it sure is real fun and it beats wishing I had a Deuce! HRP

Not a thing wrong with that car that can't be changed to reflect the owners preferences. That's a whole lot easier than starting from scratch.

  30. If everybody was truthful, we all probably have owned a glass hot rod. Who cares?
