As most of you might have seen the 41 Chevy coupe p.u. I had advertised for sale for some time I finally put it on the auction site and it met reserve and was sold finally! Now the whole reason for selling it was to replace it with a 33-34 Coupe which ive been trying to find one that i like but it has'nt been easy as i wanted the tradional look anyway right after getting paid for the 41 guess what popped up on the auction site? A 33 5 window! well long story short its in my garage and i couldnt be happier with this car as it runs & drives great and I love the look! I was about to buy a body and start a new build until i found this car its sure saving me tons of money as its a driver im sure eventually ill change it up paint wise but until then im rollin it till the wheels fall off lol! See you in Santa Maria!!

Wow Mr...that's quite a hot rod. Congrats! Tell us more. What's it got for a motor? Who built it, etc.

    Have fun!

That's a great looking coupe. I believe I've seen that one at Bonneville. With a little change to the paint (ditch those numbers) that car will be incredible!!!

The car was Built by Sinister Hot Rods in Lewisburg, OH and owned by the owners Jerry Walker Sr & Jr from my understanding the engine was built by Jerry Sr. "Walker Racing Engines" its a Built 283 with a nice lopey cam and a 4 bbl Holley which runs great!! behind that is a M22 Rock crusher Trans & a Halibrand Quick change sweet combo IMO! this car was built some 15-20 yrs ago from what ive been told.

The grille on your car sure looks like a '34 not a '33. In the picture you posted of the two model 40's side by side you can see the difference with the other car having a much narrower grille surround than the 666 car. A lot of '33's were converted to '34 grille and hood in the 50's/60's as most rodders at that time preferred the look of the '34. I lived in Lincoln, Nebraska from 1955 -1961 (dad stationed at the Air Force Base there) and during that time our neighbor bought two '33 Fords (a 2dr and a 3w coupe) to build hot rods. He about went nuts locating '34 hoods and grilles for them and almost sold the 2dr because it took so long to find a '34 grille and hood to swap. He finally found one in Omaha from a restorer that told him he would hunt him down if he ever heard it was going on a hot rod.:)
