Got a lot done this week. Car is almost completely wired up, exhaust is half done, driveshaft is in, fuel system is done, tank is mounted, brakes are finally done.

Exhaust is finished and mounted, also started darkening my hood straps. May pull a marathon this weekend and try together this thing road ready

Worked on the coupe for about 30 hours this weekend. Didn't take a lot of pictures but got a lot done. Got the wiring done, exhaust hung, everything under the car is finished, engine is all wired up with exception of battery cables, and got the hood and radiator shell on. Also got the hood straps done.

A quick update without pics (i know, i know, lame huh?) Anyways we got a lot done last night Got the headlights wired, got some exhaust wrapping done, a few little tweaks here and there, mocked up the battery cables, started on the horn and worked on a few other odds and ends.

Here is the last of the to do list to get this thing on the road
finish the horn
replace taillight bulbs with some that actually fit
wire up the passing light
fill coolant and tranny fluids
put the fuses in
crimp and hook up the battery cables
test out everything
start engine
drive!!!

 

I sure hope to see it at Beatersville this weekend........Very nice!!!

I think we're finially to a point where we can finially start this thing after testing all of all the circuits. I hope to be posting a first start video tonight and adding a bunch of pictures. Wish me luck!

Well we got the car running late tonight but its running like crap. We got some timing issues to work out. Once that is done then I will take some video. We also had a few leaks we had to fix.
