sand light grey counterclockwise with your left hand, and dark grey clockwise with your right hand. You could be the next Karate Kid! P.S. I did a 32 frame this summer and it was about a couple of feet a day before I was bored so bad I had to quit. But after a couple of months it was done (for free)! Did I mention that I'm slow... I also had to do it naked, since it was about 100 degrees (too much info, I know...)
Wiring. I love wiring like the day is long, altho blocking isnt bad either after the prime. Blocking a panel straight before the prime its most tedious.
I wonder how many thousands of dollars worth of primer I have swept up off the floor and thrown away in the last 20 years. Then again,I would rather not know. I could probably build a fairly nice ride for that much!
Dont forget to block it twice for nice straight panels. Good music goes along way. Beer party can get additional help , just dont open any before you are done . Had a friend who owned a body shop in Rockford,Il. ,the entire paint prep shop was women . They have a better eye for detail and the additional patience needed. Maybe you can get all the girlfriends to come over to help , some more beer . Who said blocking primer is boring?
Hey, Try priming, guide coating, blocking, painting, colour sanding & polishing a limo.......in Mason's Black! Weaker minds would snap! Swankey Devils C.C.
lets see some progress pics. this is the part of the project alot of people don't think about but it can be more work than all the welding and grinding that is done before you even think about the body work.
