    Haha, my daughter was 17 then, & she prefers to drive our old Suburban. And yes, shes way taller than her mother.

    Im a bit over 6 foot and I find it a bit cramped on long distance trips. But Im sure if it had the blown big block I originally planned for it, that it would fit me like a glove & you would never here me bleating about it being an uncomfortable fit. :)
     
  6. Was this car featured in a magazine in the late 70's? I swear this is the car I drooled over in the school library in 4th grade.

    Yeah, I can't tell you which issue off the top of my head, but it was in Hot Rod in '78 or '79.

    That's the first topo I had ever seen (in the mid 1970's), that's also the one that got me hooked on topo's.
