Well, I dont know what the Space Truck is & i have no personal problem with PlowBoy, I feel he has Great skills.. But i just dont Feel his style of build... Just Me !!

Now Luke's truck is a '35ish Chevy, Chevy carried over the Earlier feel a few years after Ford did & even Dodge Sported the suicide door '34 Body 1/2 way thru '35 I even thin IHC cabs were like the chev in '35.

So there are Exceptions to when i say 1935 & later, But the Round fendered trucks like '35 later Fords, '36 Chevys, '36 Dodge, ETC need to wear the Fenders.

Again, My opinion... Maybe im wrong.... But i dont think so.

I love all encompassing statements like "'35 and later ALWAYS.....blah, blah, blah".

Boys and squirrels, there are ALWAYS exceptions. In fact, that IS the only "ALWAYS" there really is.

That being said, bring on the sick, twisted, disproportioned abominations!!

I agree on both counts. But its not a rat rod and definitley not built for shock value. I was just showing all post 34 trucks without fenders arent abominations...

I think a 35+ Ford truck is 1000 times better with fenders.

    I know. And I agree 100%

But still, I can't help but like the Rudy pickup... and some of the clones out there. There were a few that were built without fenders but with some thought.

Would you have the Same attitude if the thread were about Fenderless '60s Ford trucks ??

    Wouldnt that be the Bee's Knee's ??

'60~'66 Ford trucks, No rear fenders or maybe NO BED !
No front sheet metal & a Fiberglass '32 Grill !!!

Now that would be The LIMIT on the Exception and thinking WAYYYY outside the Box and being INNOVATIVE & BUILDING YOUR OWN THING

Said by many people many times...

JUST CUS YA CAN, DONT MEAN YA SHOULD !

Then ya could compete with that Shit Heap Green F~100 Ian Rousell recently built ........... FUCKIN BARF !

Here is mine, still needs to be finished up... maybe paint some day and different exaust. just put the zoomies on to make my local show. like it or dont, i built with what i had and tried to make a good safe dependable driver to have fun in, but its definatly not a ratrod, i bought all new front and rear suspension, brakes ect... in hopes like i said to be safe and fun.

    Gotta say, doesn't sound promising......

Have not seen the Heap F-100 you speak of.

For the record, my '37 will have fenders. I'm just reminding some of you to keep an open mind and try not to let all the tainted cheez jade your melons.....

I don't get all the negative comments on fenderless trucks. I know some of them, and there are a few posted on this thread, and the other thread butchering them from before. I have one I am building and I think it is one on my favorite builds. Oh, BTW, I have a 30 model A coupe that I am going to leave the fenders on:eek:. I don't get the "Bobber" tag that some are placing on them but a lot of them are well thought out Hot Rods. Both these threads have produced pics of fenderless trucks from "Back in the day" So this isn't a new trend. Butchering up Hot Rods isn't just happening to trucks! I have seen more Coupes and sedans screwed up!!
