  2. 1. How did you lower the rear end?
I used a Model A rear spring, with the main leaf reversed and three top leafs shortened and added under the pack. I think it has 7 leafs total including the 3 shortened leafs. I used Model A perches on a later banjo to keep it a spring over setup. The chassis has been Z'd the thickness of the chassis so maybe 2.5" or so? Pretty much how the Tardel book describes it.

    2. How did you tilt the windshield?
The windscreen posts / frame is chopped 4", and then i pie cut and leaned the posts back until i was happy with it. They were cut right above the top mounting bolt, almost in line with the dash rail if i remember correctly.

    3. it is -17 degrees c here right now!!
It's around 30 degrees celcius here at the moment.. i'd much prefer our winter temps of around 17 - 20 degrees. Its too damn hot. Had 42 degrees a week or so back.. feels like a damn oven.

I like it. What are the specs on the chassis. Looks like you went with a slight channel.

Thanks. 2x4 rails I formed to the stock contour up front. Stretched 4" and the dropped crossmember was moved forward another 1". All other crossmembers were done with roll bar tubing. The body is wedge channeled about an inch up front.

One of these days I can post some build pics if there's any interest.

Couple pics of my 30 AV8 Pickup on an A frame. Last pic is when I broke it a few weeks back, I was equally thrilled about that and the impending doom of winter. Couldn't even get that last ride out to the shop, had to tow it.

Figured I'd throw these into the mix too-Always use "A" frames! You bet your "A"(ss). First is stock for my blue Banger roadster, second is frame under the green and black coupe I posted a picture of earlier.Rear has a 4" step and triangulated 4 bar set up ,4" drop axle and reversed eye spring(later) at the front.(It is stock, I just moved stuff around a little!) All "A", all the time. FORD MOTORS ONLY!!

Thanks, and glad you like the color. It was a special mix to be a close match to DP 40. I have sent the formula to a half dozen HAMBERS who have requested it.

Banginona40, that car looks great. Do you have any other pics of the rear roll pan?

Mines not as shiny as everyone elses but still on an A frame with the original banger. Remaking the body this winter once I finally stop driving it.[IMG]
