    About time for another bump,
A friend has just bought a tub which will be a highboy- with banger running gear - & I'm digging up pics for him. Anyone got pics of tubs with Big n Little's & a nice rake??

In the meantime here are a couple belonging to some friends of mine. IMG_1061.jpg IMG_4476.jpg

My 29 Roadster and my buddy's 29 RPU. We are Banger trash so it goes in hand with stock chassis and brakes.

^^^^ Your “A” Sedan is perfect, Stan!
Is the front cross spring mounted behind the front axle?

That's right Marty -- and it's the extra-rare Torpedo Salon model.
    Pat agreed.

Sedan, Frame.jpg Frame.jpg Here are some chassis shots from about 30 years ago . . .

The axle is about 4" in front of the spring and crossmember, a unique feature of the
    Torpedo Salon.

Why don't you build a frame like mine. Custom rails with a 1" radius on the bottom to sim p1010036_0001_0078.jpg p1010045_0016_0083.jpg img091 - Copy (2).jpg ulate a rolled pan? Fabricated the arch over the rear end. With a port o power, chain and a torch I curved the rails to match the body perfectly.

Is that sheet metal on the frame actually thick enough to be structural? What gauge?
