Recently got a 39 chevy coupe project and was wondering if the 37 and 38's have the same compatible rear fender??? or..?

Also, If they are being reproduced in metal, who makes them?
At this point even fiberglass is better than the tub job currently on there now.

    Thanks to all in advance.

'39 coupe, station wagon, twin & sport sedans, and coupe pickup are the only places that use the rear fender you are looking for per my Hollander interchange manual.

the reason chevy will never be as popular as ford..

39 is one year only, 40 is one year only.. as is most of the 41 stuff..

some chassis parts will carry over.. few IF ANY body parts will carry from year to year..'

no one makes a 39 chevy steel fender, (as far as I know)

my father has a 39 chevy coupe project for sale

    in case anyone is looking

  4. Small body Pontiac will also fit but may not look identical to the Chevy. Small body Olds may also fit. Both are probably harder to find than the Chevy parts though.

A coupe pickup is a coupe with a small truck box in the back instead of a decklid. Quite rare these days. Everyone made one back in the 1930's. A "real " truck is entirely different. Sorry.
Fiberglass fenders are available. No steel.
