Art & Inspiration Favorite car photo of the year.

I'll start: Going through some photos this weekend, in all the forgettable snapshots of cars I took this summer, I found some I really, really like. I'm lazy and cheap, so these are I-phone shots, but I think they're pretty good if I do say so myself. Taken at the Gilmore Car Museum, the weekend of the "Relix Riot", these are my buddies, Brandon Morrison's T, and Jake Moomey's Bel Aire. Enjoy, and share your own.

On the Fourth of July this passed summer I took a cruise w the family to get some fireworks. We decided to stop at our local dirt track "Devils Bowl Speedway" and let my son check it out. Well the place was wide open without a soul in sight, so we made a lap around just checking everything out. Then snapped this pic on the way out. Nothing special but we'll remember it forever, that's why this is my favorite picture this year.

This was from a series of carefully staged professional cellphone specials I took. The setting sun and the photogenic Hotrod just hit it off in such a magical way. I was just having a quick ride around the country block.

I absolutely love this pic that Mike Rogers of Driven Imagry captured of the B.B. Running the hill at the 2018 Hot Rod Hill Climb! I had a lot of fun with that old car this last year!

 

It is a bit self promotional but I like this one because it was taken in February and the car was assembled and driving by late summer. Now upholstered and waiting for dryer weather. When I was a kid I enjoyed building models more than staring at them, nothing has changed.
