Evidently the owner/builder of the car is a top ranked rally driver. I crewed on a Formula Atlantic car many years ago ,that had one of those engines. What a sleeper!
...and don't forget where it was built... Check also other project pics on that page. "Quite" exact restoration for Toyota rally-car... http://www.mat.fi/project1984toyotacelicaturbo.htm
what kind of engine is in it? briggs & stratton or honda generator? sounds a couple cylinders shy of a real motor.
Damn, that's an impressive amount of work! I'd hate to think how many billable hours are in that thing. Too bad that they didn't proof read the new stickers. One of them doesn't match the original.
I would bet that the Sadd, Teague and Bentley model A roadster, was faster, maybe not around a corner though. Dave
Well, not to compare apples and oranges but........... 170 plus in the 1/4 does leave a little to be desired in the 4 banger dept. Granted Daves A prolly won't corner with this one but it'll damn sure beat it there.LOL
