My dads old gasser imported to new zealand around 2008ish brought from the California hotrod Reunion at Bakersfield was a very cool car running a 468 running a best time of 10.1 1/4mile here in nz
Is it still in NZ Dylan?
From the Falcons done right thread...hope to get more details on it....@savannahDan
Michigan Hot Rod....
Favorite falcon ever... even for a fiberglass car.. lol
I would like to connect with the current owner of this Falcon. It was sold by its builder in April of 2019 in the Portland, Oregon area. If you can get me in touch with the owner please send me a PM. Thank in advance for any help you can offer.
Didn't Dave post here a few years back? I seem to remember him having some input on some Ford/racing thread a while back.
I’m not sure..but man that’s a tough looking Falcon..would love to have close to that much Tire under mine...more surgery than I’m willing to undergo..
I like the way he kept the stock rear wheel opening instead of the radius look. The front suspension looks a little sketchy also, not much thread adjustment left on those tie rods is there?
Dave Lyall has posted in here several times, I think in the AFX Falcon thread. He gave a whole story of the car, how it’s all fiberglass and the suspension mods. I have messaged him a few times and he’s very responsive. Dave is a very sharp guy! And that car is my favorite Afx Falcon by far 1 of 1
Thanks, that's as I remember it. Interesting guy & ' from the horse's mouth' info. Seemed like a very sharp & accessable guy, who was 'there'.
Back in Black...this is like a Falcon version of the Falfa 55...
Vindicator Carmel ford
Wheels up Wednesday...
This was the car that made me say..I want a Falcon..now I’m partial to the Futura Body style..but I still dig this little green mochine...
Lottsa rubber in those wheel wells. Looks good.
The wheel stand by Phil Bonner, you know thats not going to end well.
Not a gasser...but man what a cool hauler this would be...
I wonder what they used for the rear fender?
Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
looks like another front fender....
That's how we did mine. Actually 3 fenders to get the larger radius. Pic on post #204 of this thread.
