Looks like it's still kickin it here in Michigan..
Another one livin here in Michigan, although I haven't seen it in a while. SBC with a tunnel ram.
Cool to see he hasn't changed it - still has my shop name on it! Thanks for posting.
New pics of mine!
Here`s my 2nd Falcon, my 1st is the gasser in my avatar. This one is going to be a cruiser. I got from a buddy at work . He started in the early `80`s as a show car , But, it fell victim to marriage. I found it setting a tin barn and had been there since `85. The interior was already done as well as the motor work. His Mom bought it new right off the transporter. It`s a real early `63 Futura with buckets & console. The 170 was been bored & balanced with forged pistons, Offy 3-1 barrels and Clifford split headers and a 3/4 race cam as they call. It does hit pretty hard for only 170 plus inches. I`m doing the finish up work ,a complete rewire ,new gauges ,etc. Hope to finally drive it this next weekend.
Make sure you bring it to th Falcon Nationals in Tulsa next July.
Gasserman that is a cool second car.
That`s the first I heard of the Nat`s being in Tulsa next year. If I can I`ll bring both of them . Sounds like fun. Gasserman
Where in the hell is everybody finding those four lug Cragars?!?!
There was a set at the Melt down Drags for sale last week end.
My thoughts exactly! I'm starting to see more 4 lug cragars on here as of late. Score for those who have em!
Damn I want a set! I have a set of four lug 14" aluminum slots that may have been never mounted if someone wants to trade...
Mine cost me a tank of gas,8 hours, and a case of beer!
Has anyone else wanted to clone this falcon of Wesners? Or is just me?
I keep showing that painting to my girlfriend as a suggestion for her wagon's colors... So far no go.
more photos of my sedan delivery in my albums ,check my profile
I wonder if it is a commisioned piece and the car actually exists....as for your girlfriend not wanting that color is kinda crazy Im probably gonna pick it my self for my euro Ford.
That is the dog's bollocks mate. Absolutley perfect...well, minus the wides, needs skinny whites. The tube grille, paint, interior, fuck, everything is dead on perfect. We need more pics.
We saw a '70ish Duster painted Panther Pink this weekend at a cruise. Mrs. Cheese says that's the color for her '61 - possibly with a pearl-white top. Chrome steel wheels are in the picture too.
A rosier, dustier pink would be better for the period, but it's not my car.
Just give her a pearly pink, she will love it im sure
Now you all have me thinking with all this pink talk. I haven't settled on a color and I remember that painting from a while back... hmmmm.
Someone built this sweet '61 Ranchero model inspired by Keith Weesner's Orchid Flake painting:
^^^ thats nice.
I like the painting, just not a fan of dummy spots on anything.
Anyone know where to buy a print of the the above weesner ???
My friend Genes now comp orange
Our Falcon is getting closer to being a "Falcon done right"
Check it out on the link below:
Hit up his websight or just P.m. Weez...
... and now I have a color scheme for my Ranchero.
