Anyone know where to find replacement rubber bumper stops for the 61 to 63 Ford Falcon center consoles that the console lid rests on?Thanks..And the Pal style acorn nuts for the hinge

  2. Try Dennis Carpenter. HRP

  3. Try AutoKrafters, Carpenter, maybe even Mac's and there's a few Falcon/Comet-only specialist retailers out there too.

You should be able to find the acorn nuts at most better hardware stores.

  5. There has to be something you can substitute with if you can't find aftermarket rubber, check the hardware stores, they have all types of stick on bumpers, look in the picture framing area, they usually have peel and stick round and square bumpers to keep them from scratching the walls.

Even some of the weather stripping might have something you can use, just think outside the box it's hot rodding not restoration.

Another thought is TFFN ( The Ford Falcon Network ) web site, they may now exactly where to find a direct replacement piece. HRP

Show a photo of it or give us the size of the hole and how far it needs to stick out. A 56 ford has two different ones. one size for the glove box and one for the rear licences plate that covers the gas filler.
Your pal nuts need to be self threading? or that's what you are finding? I've bought acorn nuts as small as 6-32..

Have you gone to the parts department of a good sized Ford dealership?
Ford made a thousand different bumpers for all over the bodies. In our
parts department we stocked many from Ford and also had a bumper
selection from our supplies and small parts dealer. Take the console if
possible and a patient counterman will try to help you, and you'll get
    the factory look you want.

falcon Enterprises has a pretty good selection for obscure stuff on these cars. Never led me wrong and it's a smaller shop based in the US
