Yea, looks great, good works
I had pants on when I started reading this thread...
Excellent work. It's a totally different car.
Hahaha thanks man
I had to chime in...this car makes me wish I still had my '50 even worse now! I've never been a big fan of heavily modified customs...most of them, to me, look too gaudy, like guys were making changes for the sake of making changes. YOUR car, however...let's just say my left nut is getting worried it'll be leaving soon!!!
FANTASTIC job. If this car doesn't get a ton of press, win numerous awards, and stop anybody that sees it in their tracks, then there really ISN'T any justice in this world!!! Wish it was mine...!
Thanks man that's like the ultimate compliment
Great job on the redo!! I like the trim breaks up the side nicely
wow looks great, the hard work will pay off, those look like instagram pics whats your username?
How have I missed this thread, subscribing right now!
I liked the car before, love the new front end times one million.
Much better than before! Not sure if you mentioned it already, but why no rounded hood corners?
Idk I just decided against it
all primed up. With the world of wheels Chicago coming up Thursday of this week (which is my dead line lmao) it's going in primer. I may do a pearl white roof tho
every thing you did looks great to me!! i love the look now. but makes me sad that a 55 pontiac some where is missing its side trim
A gold on bottom and pearl white on top would look very clean and understated.
I love simple paint jobs... I don't like it when it looks like the paint is fighting to compete with the lines and custom touches of the car.
next is the pearl
i mean no offence in this but i really didnt care for the 40 style headlights from before but im really liking the car now im not a big radical custom guy yours is right at the point where its enough to be very cool
did you cut and tuck your bumpers? or?
They are 51 bumpers that I narrowed like 4" then moved a lil closer to the car
Shit yeah man! I'm loving this build, your paintwork is a huge inspiration for me.
Thanks man that means a lot. Its all done in a regular old garage nothing fancy. N bike u basically do outta my back pourch lol
I'm sooooo bummmmmed I won't have the rest of the car painted for the show on Thursday
Bummed? that looks fantastic already. youre a machine man.
Lol thanks man I just wish it was all the way painted
Looks great.. the pearl is a nice touch.
I'm digging how good it looks inside a garage.. you are giving me hope for mine.
How do you get rid of the Overspray in the air ?? Do you use a fan, or let it settle and buff out later ??
Wow! Its looking really good man!
Why wont you be able to paint the rest of it?
He doesn't have time to do it before WOW show in Chicago this Thursday.
Looking really good. The two tone is going to be sharp when it is done.
Well I know he doesn't have time, I was just wondering what was holding him back.
Well a few reasons one is $$$$ the other is my paint supplier will take over. Week to get my stuff plus I'd like to spend one more week to straighten out the bottom half of the body
Very kool... reminds of time bomb John's shoe, and that is a great compliment!!!
