  6. RIP Frank. He gave me the prototype rack that is in the lakester. In 07 he made a ppint to look me up at the Pileup it was my pleasure to finally meet the man. We had dreamed the he could join us on the Salt and help crew. He will not be forgotten

This sucks. Frank is the coolest old hot rodder I've ever met. He's the grumpy old man I hope I can be when I grow up. RIP Frank. :(

  13. I don't know Frank from his '32 Ford interests. Don't know him from his Howe Racing fabrication either. I slid in here for an interest in screw together hot rods, and metal shaping.....primary motivation being my old man.....build one for him. Made one post regarding dads and sons hot rodding.......and I met Fab32.

Make ya' cry reading his opinions of being a father, overcoming physical limitations for himself, but also his son's recent hurdles too. He had quite a few '32 related projects waiting on his touch....but his boy came first. Reading everything that you guys here have said.....I thought he was just an awesome dad.....and that he surely was.

God bless you Frank. Thank you for sharing a little bit with me. You're a great man, and to be honest.....it's a damned shame. This just sucks.

  14. Sad day today....Frank PM'd some time ago on some 32 parts issues.....Good guy.....RIP Frank...

Visitation hours are from 5-8pm Thursday January 8, 2014 and the funeral service will be Friday January 9 at 11am. at the Auburn Chapel of the Cunningham-Taylor Funeral Homes, Inc. Rev. Bradley H. Burrell will officiate. Those attending should understand that Frank was a casual guy and would really prefer that anyone attending either service should wear jeans and car shirts. Any donations made in Frank’s memory should go to the Wounded Warriors Project.

What a very fitting funeral service it was for Frank. His brother is a minister and did a wonderful job talking about what was important in Frank's life. Family, faith, friends and yes hot rods. The room was filled with hot rodders some of whom shared stories about Frank's exploits in building, driving and talking about hot rods. He was a great friend and he will be missed. Happy cruising Frank.
