One pair of original USA made Henry Ford F-2/F-250 12”x 2” Bendix brakes. The brake assemblies bolt up to 37-48 Ford car spindles and are a great upgrade to replace the early Ford Lockheed brakes when using Buick finned aluminum drums.

These brake assemblies are self energizing like the reproduction Lincoln; and are nice deep stamping.

The backing plates have been reconditioned, sandblasted, primed, and assembled with new shoes, new wheel cylinders, new shoe return springs, new adjuster springs, new adjusters, shoe retainers, and new hold down springs. The wheel cylinder pins have been reconditioned and reused. The backing plates do have some pitting and would probably not be suitable for powder coat or chrome without some sanding; but are easily surfaced and painted as desired.

I have included a picture of one of the plates mounted on a '42-'48 square back car spindle along with a Buick 45 fin drum to show how they fit together, the '37-'41 round back spindle works the same. The Buick drum, Ford hub, and Ford spindle are NOT included, just pictured for an illustration of usage.

There are several tech threads on the HAMB about the use of the F-2/F-250, also I will include information on the set-up and adjustment.

I will ship the brakes anywhere; email or message me for pricing.
