Who sells windshields and backlites for '53-'55 F-100? Macs, Concours, Drake and Yesteryear-much to my surprise-don't.
Mid Fifty seems to have a better listing of the tints that are avaialable. Go local if you can to avoid shipping/insurance costs.
As Oldbeet said, Bobs Classic auto glass http://app.vendio.com/storefront?view=ITEM_DETAIL&cid=11344500&lid=139147274&mode=1 245.00 is his price before the Alliance discount. Even if you do a bunch of hunting for it that will give you a base price to go by. Calculate in shipping to figure the total price for comparison with local prices. Usually the local glass shops that have been around forever are better to deal with than the quickie slickie get them in and get them out shops as some of the older shops are more willing to use more sources to get the right glass. <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">
I have bought a lot of glass from Bob...his distributor is in Ontario, CA and supplies all the glass to the Overhaulin' show. He carries all the 53-55 and 56 F100 glass including the single pane door glass.
just get in the yellow pages. Local glass shops are very, very competive on pricing windshields for cash and carry. get on the phone and ask for prices on a DW-330. thats the NAGS part number for 53-55 ford pick ups.
Thanks to all-If I can't find it now I'd better give it up. I'll try a local first-never figured any of them could help.
If its flat, especially for the back window, any good local shop can cut to size, and cheaper too than ordering glass for a specific model.
Sacramento Vintage Ford sells all of it. 916 853-2244. The windshield has to be shipped by truck, though, since it is curved glass. Shipping isn't too cheap so you may want to find it locally or set up a relay.
that's your best bet, some need a template to cut it, or why not cut your own, it should be untempered laminate, not too hard to cut
