Had these old wings kickin around for a while and just had to. I was always the kind of guy to remove hood ornaments usually, but in going with the service truck of the 50s thing I went and done it. Had a little flat head made out of pot metal too, off of an old trophy, so I mated the two and here's the end result..
Keith, looks kill. That lil flatty is neato.I'm still hunting for some M-1 stuff for you too.Its gettin hard to find.Looks like you have a 48-50 hood and box on that truk.Is the M-1 stuff for it or another truk?........Shiny
Shiny, It is for this truck. I still have the 48 ends on that sucker, but I do have a 51 nose that I need to put together. I still need a 51 Mercury front of the hood emblem and a Mercury tailgate. I already have the M-1 side spears, glovebox tag and other small pieces. Wait till the weather warms up again in a few months, then the chop and some other mods will happen...
K-member, I didn't know that was your truck. I saw it at Monroe this fall. We all had a good laugh at the company name on the side.
Thanks folks, this truck is by far the cheapest smiles per gallon ride I've ever had, it just creates laughter everwhere ya drive it,more so with a old RF hillbilly hat on.
Kool K! Now make some loong pipes on that mill,on top of the wings, and put your wiper nozzles there... Gotta flush with style, you septicservice guys....
Heya K, Did you guys get dumped on up there? It is COLD AS HELL and snowing sideways down here...Nice job by the way! Dig the truck!
Jester, I hope I can at least catch em, then I can replace the flatty with a real human hand haha. Zodoff, I'm gonna steal that idea, and install the squirters on shrooms.Spooky it's snowing to beat hell right now..Now I just need a pair of working spot lights
